DO YOU HAVE INSURANCE?
Yes absolutely! I am fully insured for public liability.
DO ALL OF THE PHOTOS GET EDITED?
Yes, every single image that is presented to you on USB and in your online gallery will be edited in my unique style. You will even receive photos edited with my black & white signature preset pack!
HOW MANY PHOTOGRAPHERS WILL BE THERE AT OUR WEDDING?
If you opt in for the ‘One With It All’ package, you’ll have two! Any other packages, you’ll have just me.
WHO HOLDS THE COPYRIGHT?
As the creator & owner of the photos, I hold the copyright. As the client, you buy the right to the high resolution digital files & can therefore also print and share the images. You are free to use your photos as you please, but do remember to get in touch for approval if they are going to be used commercially.
GROUP SHOTS?
I don’t enjoy group shots, you won’t either, they are long, boring and it’s like herding cats. Please think very carefully before supplying 50 group shots. Every group shot you ask for takes 5 minutes out of your day, that’s 5 minutes less of documentary real moments I cannot capture. If group shots are important to you then you may want to consider a second shooter or a photographer who was born in the 40’s, still shoots 35mm film and wears a black suit on the day lol…
Alternatively, you can hire my Photo Booth so ‘it’ can take care of the group shots for you!
CAN YOU HOLD OUR WEDDING DATE?
Unfortunately I cannot hold a particular date without having received the 20% deposit and the signed contract. Once these have been received your date is secure. I work on a first come first served basis and have to be fair to everyone.
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE UNTIL WE GET OUR PHOTOS?
Generally, it will take 6 weeks for you to receive your wedding photos. Depending on the time of year and how many weddings I have in the queue, the exact time will vary and can also increase during the busy summer months.
HOW MANY WEDDINGS DO YOU SHOOT A YEAR?
I’m commissioned across the UK and overseas, so I shoot a limited number of weddings each year to ensure every commission receives the same, exceptionally high attention to detail.
DO YOU REQUIRE FOOD ON THE WEDDING DAY?
It would be amazing to eat at the same point as the rest of the wedding guests, photographs of people eating are never the most flattering, so I try to eat quickly at the same time. If you have booked me for the smaller package, no food is required.
HOW MANY PHOTOS WILL YOU TAKE?
I don’t really stop taking photographs throughout the whole day. But what’s important, are the final images you receive.
HOW MANY PHOTOS WILL WE RECEIVE?
Completely depends on your day, how much is going on, how long I’m there for, what things you have planned for your guests, how many people are there. It’s impossible to guesstimate a number. The more things you have going on, the more photos you’ll get.
On average over all of my packages - between 300 and 1000 photos.
IS TRAVEL INCLUDED?
If you live within 2 hours of my hometown Fareham, then all your travel fee’s are included within the price of your package. Happy days! If you’re slightly further a field and more than 2 hours away I charge 50p a mile and may require accommodation for the night before the wedding.
CAN WE HAVE THE RAW FILES?
Unfortunately, I do not release the RAW files for a number of reasons. I believe that clients should receive a finished image, much like a painting in an art shop. In addition, by not releasing the RAW files I'm able to protect my brand, the artwork that I produce & the standard for quality on all of my finished images.
